It’s soon to be fall.

I don’t want to admit it, but as I sit here writing the trees are turning from a summery green to a fast yellow-and-brown autumn, and it’s time to be realistic: we need to get our fall wardrobe in order.

It’s not all bad though. Fall has some of the best pieces to add to your collection, from tall boots to cozy jackets. But my favourite fall fashion piece by far is the blanket shawl.

These cuddly accessories are a multi-item. It’s not just a shawl, but an open-front cardigan, scarf and even a blanket on long flights. It’s great to have a few pieces in your wardrobe that are so flexible, so let’s find you a blanket shawl you can’t help but show off!

I happen to have a cape just like the Vintage Plaid Knitted Tassel Shawl. Mine has more red and I call it the little red riding hood because it reminds me of the fairy tale. These are great pieces to add a little colour to your wardrobe because the tassel-clasp gives you a real romantic vibe.

Even with the clasp, these are great multi-functional pieces. They can be worn as a wrap, cape or poncho, or used as a blanket when needed. Reviews of this piece are great, they boast a lightweight but cozy material, that’s super cute and made with quality material.
