Let’s be honest, there aren’t many fat women in Hollywood, so we don’t get a lot of choices when it comes to best plus size red carpet looks. Despite the small pool though, the 2020 Oscars came and went last night and we had some super cute outfits to peek at.

Radiant in Red: Chrissy Metz

Chrissy Metz was gorgeous in her Christian Siriano gown. I absolutely love how the particular red hue that they chose for her 2020 Oscars gown quite literally radiates. It helps pull her away from the backdrop into the limelight.

Not only that, but this gown has a particularly elegant flow to it, the way it just grazes and falls on the carpet. Not to mention the asymmetrical off-shoulder design.

On any day Chrissy Metz is a gorgeous woman, but her look today, in particular, makes her absolutely stand out.

Yes, Yellow! Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling ALWAYS looks like a babe. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in anything (not even in A Wrinkle in Time which definitely isn’t my favourite despite the inclusion of the dad version of Chris Pine) where she doesn’t look drop-dead gorgeous.

However, this yellow Dolce & Gabbana holds a special place in my heart because it’s my freaking favourite colour—in basically my favourite shade. I love the asymmetry with the missing shoulder, the slight train and the overall simplicity of it as a whole.

By-the-way her jewelry is worth OVER $1-MILLION. Seriously, it came with its own bodyguard. Apparently the necklace she wore was “identical” to the one she stole in Oceans 8. How crazy is that?!?

Dazzling Gold: Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson is actually my go-to style queen when it comes to plus-size red carpet looks. She ALWAYS looks like a bombshell babe. If I could master her style and personality for a fraction of the time, I’d feel like a million bucks.

This Jason Wu though is something else entirely. Look at how it freaking dazzles. It has an old-fashioned movie star glam feel with its low cut neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

The dazzling dress is paired with a Pomellato vintage necklace, which looks amazing. Plus her movie-start bang flip and the bright red lipstick really bring the whole look together.

Fifteen thumbs way up. Seriously, the girl looks like a goddess!

Beanie Feldstein

Beanie Feldstein looks like a princess in this custom black-and-white Miu Miu. I’m 99.9% sure I was looking up grad dresses that looked like this way back when I was peacing high school. Only hers looks about 1000 times more gorgeous and probably costs the sale of all of my internal organs.

For me, it’s the skirt that does it. In fact, if I was to create my own Oscar’s look it would have this skirt and a turtle neck style lace top (yeah, I’m a little weird). But this bad boy is so glam and it looks SO soft.

I love the black and white mixed with her old school Hollywood glam hair… seriously it seems like the trend this year. She somehow looks both drop-dead gorgeous and cute as a button at the same time (and I’m super jelly)!

Who do you think had the best plus-size red carpet look at the 2020 Oscars?
